On June 23-24, 2016, the 2nd Regional Scientific and Practical Conference was held at the Department of the Ukrainian Language with the purpose to solve modern issues of the functioning of the Ukrainian professional language in synchronic and diachronic aspects.
This year, scientists from Ternopil, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kryvyi Rih, Poltava, Kherson, Sumy participated in the conference and discussed actual problems of modern science.
The head of the Department of the Ukrainian Language, PhD, associate professor Maria Tyshkovets led the work of the conference.
On May 22-23, 2017, a seminar-conference of the heads of the departments of the Ukrainian language was held on the basis of the support department at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University with the purpose to improve the methodological strategy of teaching Ukrainian as a foreign language.
